Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Nikkah Date website and waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist you agree to them. They are short because the site currently does one thing: it lets you register interest in Nikkah Date before launch.

What Nikkah Date is right now

Nikkah Date is in a pre-launch phase. The website describes the platform we are building and lets you join a waitlist, join our communities, and support the mission. The matchmaking platform itself is not yet live, and nothing on this site is an offer of matchmaking services today.

The waitlist

• Joining the waitlist is free.
• A place on the waitlist is not a guarantee of access, of a launch date, of availability in your country, or of any outcome. We will be honest with you about progress, and launch decisions remain ours.
• One registration per person. We may remove duplicate, false or abusive entries.
• You must be 18 or older. Parents may register interest on behalf of an adult child with that person's knowledge and consent.
• Provide accurate information. When the platform launches, identity verification will be part of the process.

Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to the building of Nikkah Date, processed on the hosted pages of Paystack or Stripe. A donation is not an investment, purchase or fee: it buys no equity, no service, and no advantage on the waitlist. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at salam@nikkahdate.me and we will look at it in good faith.

Communities

Our WhatsApp and Telegram communities are moderated spaces. Be respectful; keep interactions within the bounds of Islamic manners. We may remove anyone from a community at our discretion. Those platforms also apply their own terms.

Acceptable use of this site

You agree not to:

• Submit information about another person without their consent.
• Use automated tools to scrape the site or flood the waitlist form.
• Attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it.

Intellectual property

The Nikkah Date name, logo, and the content of this site belong to Nikkah Date. You may share links to the site freely; do not copy or reuse the brand or content in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without written permission.

What we are not promising

The site is provided as it is. We work carefully, but we do not promise the site will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Nikkah Date is not liable for losses arising from use of this pre-launch site, from reliance on launch timelines, or from the actions of third-party platforms we link to. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms as the project grows, and will update the date at the top when we do. Significant changes will be flagged to waitlist members by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
